Rev Ty Tyler - About Me

As a resident of southern California for the last 3 years, I have had the pleasure of performing both denominational and non-denominational weddings. It is truly a blessing to be able to do the very thing you love doing, and for me that is ministering to people.

I am originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. At the age of 18 I had a life changing encounter with God and have never been the same since. I began working actively in full time ministry in 1988 and became an ordained pastor in 1993. I can truly say that I am called to do what I do. Over the years I have officiated at a variety of

family events such as weddings, baby dedications, baptisms and funerals. The common denominator of all of them were the people that I had the honor of ministering to.

I have a wife of almost 17 years and two daughters ages 9 and 11. My wife has two brothers who have lived in southern California for 22 years. Following hurricane Katrina, we decided that a move here was in the best interest of our family so we took the plunge in 2007.

If you decide to schedule an initial consultation, I will provide you with a list of references that will enable you to verify the authenticity of my ordination. I think you will feel comfortable knowing that I didn’t decide to jump on the internet one day and buy a license in 20 minutes. A wedding is important and officiating one is something I take very seriously.
